Information Design Courses at UofT

I have been teaching in the area of information design and visualization for many years now and across many institutions. It’s an area I love deeply because of the interesting mix of information, design, user experience, and artististic interpretation. The ability to encode and create new ways of seeing information is super fascinating and I believe it has a lot of power as we enter into this world of big data. Information and data is collected nearly everywhere now. The questions will now surround how we present it, understand it, and visualize it for people to absorb and retain the information appropriately.
